Lil Wayne made it, Tha Carter III sells a million copies for a week its the first album to sell a million copies in a week for 3 years. The opus sold is 1,060,000 copies to debut at #1 according to Nielsen/SoundScan’s list of the best-selling albums in the U.S.

Lil Wayne is the sixth top 10 album, but he is the first to reach #1. His first hit the chart when he was 16 year old. Lil wayne is the third artist to hit #1 so far this year who first cracked the Billboard album chart as a teenager.

Tha Carter III is the third album of Lil wayne, that features Jay-z produce by Just Blaze, and other couple hiphop artist. He keeps upgrading his music hits by hits.
